![]() ![]() This means all engines use the same generic torque curve which is not in def files so cannot be changed by players. In ETS2 the only engine parameter that you can change that affects engine behavior is the torque value (torque: X), all the other values "info" are just for display purposes. SCS, please make it possible to change the torque range of engines. I wouldn't be surprised if that was next on their list though outside of the PACCAR trucks. I'll take what I said in the 2nd reply back anyway because I'm thankfully running out of things to say and forgot where I was going with this.lolĪnd yeah, I'd love to see them make a Cascadia too, even though I don't care for them as much as I used to. I guess for me, I just don't want to have to keep changing shit they do anymore especially with how impressive their new work is. On the other hand, modding isn't meant to be a professional job either, it's just something to do out of boredom, pickiness, and having too much spare time. So that's kind of why I hate it when someone says to just mod it or download a mod if they want it. Unfortunately not every modder does that. The stuff I do to models usually always comes out below 200,000 polys, but I'm still lacking a bit with making the models look like they're game models. I can't say I'm a saint though, I'm in over my head with my own modding projects for haulin but that's a different situation modding that game. I just get sick of the guys in the community who have such a hard-on for modding shit, there's even a few who literally said they can't wait do "mod" ATS immediately when it comes out. Even if I had the patience to model a T680 interior, there's no way I would be able to make it look that decent. I don't really care if SCS doesn't have a shifter in their interior, they still did better than I could do with the model. ![]() Users of the Steam distribution platform voted Euro Truck Simulator 2 to win "I Thought This Game Was Cool Before It Won An Award" and the "Sit Back and Relax"-award in Steam Awards 2016.Just to make it clear, I wasn't the OP in the last few replies.Īnyway, I'm with with you with the modding, just about going on 7 years but I haven't taken my 3D modeling seriously until about 2-3 years ago.
