![]() The installation went well and I was able to start the application. ![]() I installed the application to a thumb drive (as I only have one hard drive in my system). I say after playing with Easeus Data Recovery Wizard 5.6.5 that it deserves two Thumbs UP! and I would like to thank GAOTD and Easeus software Developers for making this Application FREE for us to try, Play with, and keep for as long as we wish to use it! I think the price to perches Easeus Data Recovery Wizard 5.6.5 for $69.95 is in line with other quality products that do this kind of recovery "Save you life" Software! (o I know there are good Apps that are FREE and most are pretty good, But I am a fem believer in "You get what you pay for!", Especially when you need customer support! Thank You GOTD for another Fine utility for FREE Today! Thanks, Have a Great Night and always Have Fun!, Rick D. Years Ago I had this happen to me, Files where accidentally deleted and it was late and I went to bed! During the night the HDD optimizer ran and the next day I had "0" Luck recovering any of the data files I had lost the night before! Soooo, Just a word to the wise if you happen to use a optimizer and its set to run once a week? etc. As soon as you are aware you have a problem you should Immediately disable any and all HDD optimizers before you do anything else! It would be the luck that the optimizer would run before you have a chance to recover your files! and this could and most likely would wright data to the area of your HDD that your missing files were located! Thus making it next to impossible to recover them. But as something to check if you should have a loss of data problem? A lot of PCs have a disk optimizer set up that runs automatically once a week or moth, etc. On other note: I noticed when reading all the revues that nothing was said about Optimizers? If there was I must have missed it. I feel Farley confident that the Wizard will work fine and I Do still have "RECUVA" as a back up! (o I have heard of Easeus software before and it comes with good recommendations and word that they produce very good applications, So I am confident it will perform with-in my expectations. Easeus Data Recovery Wizard worked very well and had no problem listing the files and restoring them and it also found files that had been deleted several moths ago but could not complete or restore most of them as the location on the drive I'm sure had been over written some time ago.Īll and ALL it worked very Well and I plan on leaving it installed and the next time I have an accident! Or some kind of system error, I will put it to a real world test and if that, Or when that happens I will report back how well Easeus Data Recovery Wizard performed during a real crises. I installed it on my C:\drive as most of my data and stored project files are on my D:\drive, I did the test, Deleted of some files I no longer needed and I created some new ones and deleted them as well. I launched Easeus Data Recovery Wizard and look at the "About" tab and verified that it is registered and is version 5.6.5. With the rest of the usual CD/DVD-RW-RRW-ROM drives and a EVGA Geforce GTX-650 Video card and a 23 inch 3D LED LG Monitor. I'm running a AMD Bulldozer 6 core CPU 3.4GHz that is unlocked but not over clocked, On a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 MB, 16MBs of RAM and 2 internal HDDs and 1 external 1TB eSATA for backup and stored data etc. answered all the questions per my setup and it installed, verified, and registered the app very fast, and the little status window said that the program was successfully registered and that was that! I downloaded and unzipped Easeus Data Recovery Wizard and opened and read the readme.txt file and this GOTD was completely automatic, So I just ran the install. ![]() ![]() OK, I saw today's GOTD and had not used or tried Easeus Data Recovery Wizard and after reading the information and the revues It looked like it warranted a test run! I have used "RECUVA" for years and have had very good results with it but it never hurts to have another good recovery program installed as sometimes one will find and recover where another may not, So two safety nets are better then one? ![]()
